HEARDLY

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Owned and operated by: Ring & Bloom LLC

Effective date: October 22, 2026

Our commitment

We collect only what we need to run Heardly, we never sell your data, and you can delete your products or your whole account yourself at any time.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Heardly.io, a platform owned and operated by Ring & Bloom LLC ("we", "us", "our", "Heardly"), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use heardly.io ("the Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Give Us

Name and email address

Password (stored in hashed form; we can never see it)

Your product details: name, description, website address and target audience

Keywords, hashtags and subreddits you choose to search

Your "Good lead" and "Not a lead" picks, saved posts, and notes

Support messages you send us

If you delete your account, the reason you choose and any comment you add

Billing details are entered directly with our payment provider, Stripe. Heardly does not see or store your full card number.

2.2 Information From Websites You Give Us

When you enter a website address, a service we use reads that page and returns its title, description and a few paragraphs of text. We use that text to suggest a product description, and we keep the suggestion for up to 24 hours so the same site is not read again.

2.3 Public Social Media Content

When you run a scan, we collect publicly available posts and comments from LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok and X that match your keywords. This includes the text, the author's public username or display name, public engagement counts, the link to the post, and a copy of the post's preview image. We do not access private messages, private accounts, or content that requires logging in.

2.4 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Service we collect basic technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, features used, and the date and time of access. We use your IP address, in a scrambled form, to limit how often the website lookup on the sign-up step can be used.

We use cookies and browser storage that are needed for the Service to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your settings. We do not use advertising cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

Create and manage your account

Run your scans and show your results

Suggest product descriptions, keywords and replies

Learn from your "Good lead" and "Not a lead" picks to rank your future results

Process payments and manage your plan and tokens

Send emails about your account, such as sign-up codes, password changes, billing and support replies

Respond to support requests

Understand how the Service is used and improve it, including from the reasons people give when they leave

Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security problems

Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data to train general-purpose AI models.

4. Who We Share Information With

We share information only with service providers that help us run Heardly, and only what each one needs:

Supabase: hosting, database, sign-in and file storage

Stripe: payments and invoices

Resend: sending emails

Anthropic: AI that writes descriptions, suggests keywords, ranks posts and suggests replies (it receives your product details and the public posts being analysed)

Apify: collecting public social media posts and reading the website you enter

Google Web Risk: checking the website address you enter against lists of unsafe sites (it receives only the address)

Cloudflare: the "are you human" check on the sign-up step

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. They are required to protect it and to use it only to provide their service to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Heardly, our users or the public, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will tell you.

5. How Long We Keep Information

Account details are kept while your account is open.

Scan results are kept while the product they belong to exists. Running a new scan replaces the results of the previous scan on that platform.

Saved posts are kept until you remove them or delete the product.

Website descriptions on the sign-up step are kept for up to 24 hours.

When you delete a product, its scans, results, saved posts and keywords are deleted right away.

When you delete your account, your account, products, results, saved posts and tokens are deleted right away. We keep a short record of the deletion (your email address, the reason you chose, any comment, and basic account statistics) to understand why people leave. Backups may hold deleted data for up to 30 days before they are overwritten.

Payment records are kept by Stripe for as long as tax and accounting laws require.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), access rules so each user can only see their own data, and limited staff access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Access and copy: you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you by emailing hello@heardly.io.

Correction: you can update your name in Settings, or contact us to change your email address.

Deletion: you can delete any product, or your whole account, yourself in the app at any time. You can also email us to ask for deletion.

Marketing: if we send marketing emails, each one will include an unsubscribe link. Account emails, such as billing and security messages, will still be sent.

Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser, but parts of the Service, such as staying signed in, will not work without them.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Heardly and its service providers may process your data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service links to posts on third-party platforms and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the Service before they take effect.

12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. Heardly does not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@heardly.io.

13. European and UK Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (to provide the Service), our legitimate interests (to improve the Service and prevent abuse), legal obligations, and your consent (for marketing emails).
